OUR MISSION

Our mission is 'to make disciples of Jesus Christ' by boldly and intentionally following his example of nurturing the wounded, empowering the weakened, witnessing to the weary, and sharing the Word of God. Through our worhsip, study and service, we proclaim Jesus as God's gift of salvation for all creation and we bear witness to the transformative work of the Holy Spirit by living transformed lives in our home, work, church and community.

OUR VISION

We, the people of Epworth-Roanoke United Methodist Church, celebrate the diversity of every person as being loved by God and of sacred worth regardless of age, gender, racial or ethnic background, sexual orientation, marital or socioeconomic status, physical or mental ability. We have been reconciled to God, through Christ, and have been given the ministry of reconciling all God's creation to God and to one another. We are an Open and Affirming, Reconciling congregation and all who seek God are welcomed to worship and serve here.
